Kartchner

Derek and I met in high school and I instantly fell in love. Derek took a little convincing, which came back around to him when he was trying to get me to marry him. He did, however, convince me and we have now been married for six and a half beautiful years. We have four wonderful and crazy children: Dathan, Blake, and Savanna, and Macady. I can't believe I'm old enough for this paragraph to be describing me.

Here is the rest. Somehow it got seperated. Can you believe this is the same house? It is so different. This was a month ago, we now have weeds and a little bit of grass in the front lawns.

For those of you who had interest what our house (Grandma and Grandpa Smith's old house) looks like now, here it is! This is mainly for Shaun and Cheramie. I tried to make a slideshow, but couldn't figure out how.

The deal was that if the boys let Derek cut their hair they would get to help cut his, and I must say they did an excellent job.

This is how the attempt at potty training is working out. Actually it is going well. Blake is doing it himself. I just let him run around all day naked and he pees outside on the dirt. The bad part is that he watched someone (nameless, but not me), wash out a pair of poopie unders in the toilet. He has now cleaned out his own "jobs" twice. EEWWW!! Dathan loves help Blake go potty (stand next to him) so he can get a candy, too. You would never guess my Dad's a dentista at the rate I am handing out candy right now.

This awesome up-do is thanks to Grampa Kartchner and Aunt Laura. Sunday evenings at the Kartchner's are unpredictable and very fun . This is Monday afternoon, after a night of sleeping and a nap or two the next morning. That is some great product.

Okay, this was so funny. Ross has the biggest shoes ever. Savanna's face says, "what are my wacky parents doing?" These shoes were size seventeen I believe.

Okay, this is a more recent picture of my adorable little clan. Yes, Savanna's hair is normal for her, although it is finally beginning to lay down sometimes. She loves to stare people down until they will smile at her, then she gives a big ole grin back. She is adored and mauled by her older brothers, but usually takes it in stride.

I wish our dog was still this cute. I know I should not be wasting a precious post on the dog, but I don't have any of my recent pictures on this computer. Long story. So, I have to learn with pictures that are not so recent. This was Christmas. The dog's name is Skippito, in honor of our favorite kid book, Skippy Jon Jones. If you haven't read it, you should. Anyway, if you listen to Dathan say it, it is SCABITO. Kind of gross sounding, but hey, its a dog.

I finally did it!

There you have it. I started my blog. Actually I started it about three weeks ago. This is just my first post. It takes a lot of effort to get around to it when the internet hasn't been a part of your life for two years. I am sure that a lot of my first posts will be retarded due to the fact that I have to learn how to do this, BUT I will do my best.
