Derek and I met in high school and I instantly fell in love. Derek took a little convincing, which came back around to him when he was trying to get me to marry him. He did, however, convince me and we have now been married for six and a half beautiful years. We have four wonderful and crazy children: Dathan, Blake, and Savanna, and Macady. I can't believe I'm old enough for this paragraph to be describing me.

Lastly, for this posting frenzi, we celebrated Uncle Trenton's birthday (sorry Sean we didn't remember our camera for your BDAY). It was a good time. We gave him a Dairy Queen gift certificate with the stipulation that half of it must be spent on a girl. He is seventeen and has yet to go on a date. Money is one of his regular excuses. We'll see if he obeys instruction.

I took the kids shopping(yeah!!!) while Derek was at a convention in Mesa the other day. Most of the time, I had all three kids cosily fit in this one baby stroller, but at one point Dathan was sleeping so we put Savanna on top of him and Blake walked. Apparently, Dathan was really tired because he slept that way for at least an hour. Good Times!!

First of all, I must say that Derek calls our blog the Savlog (savanna blog). I really do try to get pictures of everyone on here, but boy she is cute. So, her hair seems to be theme on the Savlog. I loke to do things to it, so does Dathan. The fabulous fo-hawk is his doing. She sometimes tolerates him playing with her hair for a few minutes. Also, I just had to put in the she-thinks-she's-big-dishwasher-picture because every good little child has one of those.

We also went to Sunsplash. Our boys loved it. Savanna was fine with it as well, except apparently 3 swim diapers was not enough.......

We went to Chuck E Cheese. The kids all love it. Blake's favorite thing was the cars. Yes, the kind that move about three inches and play the carousel music. Dathan's was, by far, the jet ski simulator (Derek's too, truth be known). Mine was the SKee Ball. I love that game, and I must say, I tore it up. Savanna just liked the pizza.

We recently went to the zoo and the baboon was very interested in the boys. Blake was convinced it was because of his Thomas the Train shirt. It was hilarious.

Savanna officially made her first mess. She got wipes out of the wipee container. I know, this is pretty mild, but, hey I won't complain about that!
