Harvest Happy
We are extremely proud of our pumpkin harvest this year. I don't know if it was the kind of seed we bought, the good monsoons, the authentic manure or what, but these babies got big. I literally had to use the wagon to move the biggest two.
At this point, Savanna was tired and hungry, so she crawled off the edge of the sidewalk and got a big scrape on the side of her face and was crying at my feet while I coaxed and pleaded and begged and finally got two boys looking at me and smiling at the same time. Aren't these pumpkins amazing!
A day in the world of a boy
Dathan found one of those fuzzy caterpillars and thought it was pretty cool. He let it crawl all over him , and loved every minute. Blake, on the other hand, was not interested in the petting zoo approach. He was completely satisfied with looking.
I can hardly get Blake to smile for pictures anymore, so in order for him to not be stone faced, I let him stick out his tongue. Dathan, of course, takes the opportunity and runs with it.

The PERCH
This is Savanna's position of choice. In case you are wondering, the bottom is not touching the ground. I don't know if she doesn't like her knees on the ground, or what. She really likes playing outside, too.
