Today was Blake's 3rd birthday. He had a fun day dispite beginning it by popping a 2 foot size balloon in his face. The back hoe cake was a smashing success. Blake had a good time "helping" to make it. He had a hard time waiting for family to come over and eat it with him, with it just sitting there on the counter, waiting to be eaten. Blake is an eater. I was happy he chose hot dogs and chips for his birthday dinner. No set-up and no clean-up.
Of all the exciting presents Blake got for his birthday, this was the only one he reacted to, the bike helmet. It is a sign of being big, I guess. Dathan has one and he just thought he was so cool to have one now, as well. After all the initial fun of the presents, Derek found Blake in the kitchen with his helmet on, singing, happy birthday to Blake, etc. Blake enjoyed all the cards and phone calls. I got a special kick out of Spencer and Dallin. They sang and halfway through Spencer breaks it off saying Dallin wasn't singing right and started again. I was crackin' up! Thanks everyone!

It's been awhile since I've been blog hunting. Glad I found you on here.
Love the cake! Raely was really disappointed she didn't get to go to Blake's birthday. Distance just doesn't seem to phase her. Happy Birthday Blake!
that is the cutest cake! good job!
Cute cake! You are such a fun birthday mom! Thanks again for the song and the card on my birthday! You are the best to remember. Let's feast again at Christmas.
Love the red helmet. My girls have some, but it is like pulling teeth to get them to wear them. Loved the cake, you are so talented. I love Bashas for the mear fact that I don't have to make a b-day cake.
I am very impressed with that cake! It is amazing. Can you tell what a blogger I am that it took me this long to look up your blog :)
I'm sorry I missed you too! I was the laziest thing this vacation...I had the flu for the first part and spent the second part sitting in the sun reading. I'm not sure when we are coming down next, but I can never stay away too long...so, I'll see you soon!
